"A love for truffles and a spirit of sharing are at the heart of everything we do."

Truffe Boissieux

Blending tradition with modernity, the Boissieux family upholds a time-honored know-how passed down from generation to generation.

Our History

1870
The Boissieux family settles in the Drôme des Collines

For five generations, our family has been deeply rooted in its land at Les Balmes, in Romans-sur-Isère, in the Drôme des Collines. Located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, this rolling and verdant landscape provides an exceptional natural environment for cultivating black truffles.

The Boissieux ancestors were passionate about gathering various wild mushrooms in the surrounding forests. Grandparents passed down their knowledge to their children, who gradually developed an interest in wild black truffles. This is how our truffle-growing estate was born, as we learned to cultivate oak and hazelnut trees — the host trees of this precious treasure in the heart of northern Drôme.

2013
Truffle Agri-Tourism…
Discover Our Destination

We opened our truffle-growing estate to the public to share our passion and expertise for truffles. Since then, we have been offering guided tours during the harvest season, allowing visitors to explore the fascinating world of truffles — a moment of discovery and authenticity. A way for food lovers to learn truffle recipes, and for the curious to better understand truffle cultivation.

Our estate also welcomes food professionals, giving them the opportunity to discover and fully understand our truffles so they can showcase and promote them in their restaurants or retail outlets, both nationally and internationally.

2016
Cooperation with Producers from the Drôme

Today, we continue to honor our heritage by cultivating truffles of the highest quality, respecting traditional methods while innovating for the future. As demand for our products continues to grow, we have opened our doors to local producers from the Drôme in order to combine our harvests and promote truffles — a flagship product of French gastronomy — on an international scale.

2024
Opening of a Shop and Online Store

Our premises were relocated to open a boutique in Mours-Saint-Eusèbe, in the heart of the Drôme des Collines. Visitors can purchase fresh truffles during the harvest season, as well as our full range of truffle-based products. We will be delighted to share tips and advice to help you make the most of your truffles.

Please feel free to ask us any questions — we will be happy to guide you.
