About Tuber melanosporum
The black winter truffle (Tuber melanosporum) is one of gastronomy’s most prized treasures. Harvested mainly between November and March, it grows in symbiosis with oak tree roots. Its firm, dark flesh reveals an intense and persistent flavour, combining earthy woodland notes with refined complexity. France — particularly the Périgord, Drôme des Collines and Vaucluse regions — is internationally recognised for the quality of its truffles.

Usage advice
To preserve its delicate aromas, avoid prolonged or high-temperature cooking. It is best used fresh at the end of cooking or infused into cream, butter or other fats. We recommend approximately 10 grams per person, or around 10% of the infused fat content. It pairs beautifully with eggs, pasta, meats, fish and vegetables.
For optimal storage, wrap your truffle in a damp cloth and keep refrigerated.

Delivery Information
Truffles are shipped from Monday to Thursday morning in refrigerated trucks (ChronoFresh) to ensure optimal temperature control. Fresh truffles are vacuum-packed with absorbent paper to protect them during transport. Labels are applied by hand as a mark of additional quality care, and each parcel is carefully prepared.
